Restorting Hyper-V VM and Trust Issues – Reseting

First I had to reattach the VHDs ( I had two vhds for single server)  so that Hyper-V would recognise it.

Then I had to follow the posting at:

” don’t rejoin to fix the trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed “

and run the command

netdom.exe resetpwd /s:<server> /ud:<user> /pd:*

to get the machine to accept login from domain.

Also note that if you had changed the password of a user, services may not run.Just go back to AD and change the password back and restart the machine and it should work.(Windows 20008 R2)
